Lions and tigers and sharks: Weekend Doggie Double

As Matt and Mary drove to the Downtown Aquarium at 700 Water St. in Denver, they imagined how BlogDog would react if he were introduced to sea turtles or sharks. They pictured his ears and tail perking up as he sniffed intensely.

As dogs are not invited into this restaurant/tourist attraction, BlogDog never did meet up with any real sea animals. The six foot plastic shark outside didn't elicit any response from BlogDog, although it quite amused Mary.

  1. BlogDog,
I LOVE the picture of you and the shark! Who needs to go inside when the plastic shark can put its arm around you in a picture! Very entertaining! Plus Mary & I do have a fondness for plastic sharks..I may need to swing by on my next visit to Denver!

  2. Oh yes!! I forgot about the plastic shark connection! I don't know how I could have overlooked that highly amusing moment in our lives.

  3. I love that statue, and I don't think I've ever seen it before. Thanks, BlogDog, for reminding me I need to go to the aquarium.

  4. Beth, I'd be curious to hear your impressions. It seems unlike other aquariums I have been too.
